| Bio: | | My first race was in 1995 at Holland in the Enduro Class. A good friend of mine Mike Cardamone let me driver his car because he won the championship the year before and Holland's rules were the top three had to sit out the following year or move up. We decided that I would drive it at Holland and he would drive it at Lancaster and Ransomville. I did OK ....I won 2 heats as a rookie and had 2 top tens in the features and Cardamone won the 2 track championship over Craig Orr. I built my own car a 1977/75/76 Monte Carlo and went racing at Holland for the next 5 years taking 1999 off to move out to Akron from Buffalo. In 2002 I decided to race at Lancaster full time for points. We painted the car white and orange and numbered it to #28 from the old black and silver #13. #28 was my Dad's number when he ran the latemodel class at Lancaster back in 1971-72. In 2004 I built a new car with the help of Doug Evans and his crew and my Dad and Cory. A 1981 Malibu 2 door was the choice becuase it was a southern car and Trey Hoddick gave me a smoking deal on it. This is just a summary of it all and there is a lot of stories in here but I figure I can add them as I go along. I would like to consider myself a dedicated racer.....which in some cases I am... things like Family, money, help and time lead me to being a hobby racer. |
